A Chinese Crested will often be not able to tolerate chilly weather conditions. That is partly mainly because of the insufficient hair/fur/coat. If you live in an area with chilly local climate, it is probably not the greatest to help keep a Crestie. Some dogs could possibly tolerate the occasional harsh tone, but not the delicate Chinese Crested.
